Life at St Martin’s has been busier than usual since November.

We have been pleased to welcome the congregation from Hallow while their heating system has been repaired and upgraded.

It has been so wonderful to see the Church full on Sundays, with joyful music and singing. The Church in Hallow has now been reopened and we are back to our regular 2 services a month, details of which can be found elsewhere in the magazine. We are hoping that there will be some who have found the beautiful surroundings of Holt Church peaceful and will continue to join our services.

It has obviously been sad to see Kalantha leave the benefice and we are now without a Vicar for the next few months, but we are very grateful for the continued support of Paul, Sheila and David.

Whether you are a regular churchgoer or not you will find a warm welcome at St Martins. Apart from the regular services, where all are welcome, the Church is open during daylight hours for quiet prayer and contemplation. The churchyard is beautiful with swathes of snowdrops and other spring flowers, truly inspirational!

St Martin’s Church is a grade 1 historic gem, nestled in the countryside, dating back to Saxon times. Please visit us. You will be so welcome.
