GIVING & RECEIVING
GIVE ONLINE
You can make a one off or regular online donation to any of our churches via SumUp or bank transfer.
BECOME A VOLUNTEER
Volunteering provides an opportunity to give back to the community, make new friends, and build a support system within your local church.
DO YOU GIFT AID?
If you pay tax you can increase your gift by 25% - it costs you nothing and we can claim the extra amount from HMRC as a refund.
WE NEED YOUR HELP
We all have choices to make about what we can afford to gift, and how we do that.
Please prayerfully consider what you currently give to the church, and whether you might be able to make a regular gift or a “one off” gift. All gifts are received with grateful thanks, and carefully stewarded.
Regular giving helps us to meet our costs and can be a tax efficient way to give. Could you consider what you give week by week? We know that already some give as much as they can.

You can donate in many ways:

Legacy Policy:
At West Worcester Beacon, we welcome all gifts in wills, however large or small and we promise to use your gift to make a difference to our churches and our community. Our Legacy Policy is to use gifts to help fund significant development projects, whether buildings, equipment or staff.
Since needs change over the years, we encourage you to leave a gift in your will for the general purposes of one of our parishes (probably the one you attend most often) rather than for a restricted purpose. We will discuss possible uses of your gift with your executors when the time comes, bearing in mind your known areas of interest in the church (e.g. music, buildings, children and youth, overseas mission or aid) and the church’s priorities at the time.
You can be confident that your gift will be used to make a real difference to our future mission and ministry.
We acknowledge gifts bearing carefully in mind whatever the donor and the donor’s executors feel most appropriate. Equally, we can make sure that gifts remain anonymous if the donor prefers.
If you would like to talk to someone in confidence about the sorts of purposes your gift might fund, and how/if you would like your gift to be acknowledged, please contact either your parish church Treasurer, or our vicar at rev.kalantha@gmail.com
If you would like to make a gift to our church in memoriam, please come and discuss this with us too. It can be a wonderful and appropriate way to remember a loved one.
Thank you for thinking of the legacy you can leave your church.
Can you volunteer some time?
Volunteering at church can be an incredibly rewarding and fulfilling experience. It provides an opportunity to give back to the community, make new friends, and build a support system within your local church. Volunteering can also help to develop valuable skills, such as leadership, communication, and teamwork.
Whether it's helping with outreach programs, Bible study, or assisting with Sunday services, volunteering at a church can have a positive impact on both you as an individual and the community as a whole.
If you'd like to find out more about volunteering with us, please email our Benefice Administrator.
