THE MAGAZINE
About The Magazine
The Magazine is a Parish Magazine produced for the villages of the West Worcester Beacon - Hallow, Lower Broadheath, Holt and Grimley. The Magazine is published monthly for 10 months of the year - December/January and July/August being joint issues.
We welcome content from anyone in the areas covered by the publication and only charge (very reasonably!) for advertising of a commercial nature.
Please do send us articles that you think any of our readership would find of interest - publicise your community events - let us know about your societies and clubs.
You can contact us most easily via westworcesterbeaconmagazine@gmail.com
Articles should be attached either as Word or image files - NOT PDF please.
The Editor reserves the right to determine suitability of content for inclusion, and your piece may be amended as required.
'The Magazine' Treasurer required
Due to my forthcoming retirement as the current Magazine Treasurer, the Benefice are looking for a volunteer to take on the role from 1st January 2027. Full training and support will be given.
Duties include advertiser's invoicing, payment of Printer's monthly invoice, banking subscriptions collected by magazine distributors regarding lists and subscription payments.
Most of the work takes place between January and March due to yearly invoicing and subscriptions. For the remainder of the year, Treasurer work may entail 1 day a month.
Desirably, knowledge of Gmail, Microsoft Word and Excel are required to manage emails, spreadsheets and documents.
If you are interested to find out more or have any questions, please do not hesitate to give me a call on 07771 511452 or email wwbmagtreasurer@gmail.com
